St. Charles North grad bags 38th goal

CHICAGO (Feb. 28, 2017) — Through 19 MASL games this year, Chicago Mustangs forward Taylor Bond has posted 12 multiple-goal games.

The St. Charles native scored four goals and had an assist on Friday, Feb. 24 in Tacoma and scored against Ontario on Sunday, Feb 26, to earn honorable mention Team of the Week in week 18.

Bond is enjoying a career season in his third year with Chicago with 38 goals and 14 assists. He is fifth in the league in goals and fourth in points. The 28-year-old garnered MASL Team of the Week recognition twice, on Jan. 24 and Feb. 14. He has eight hat tricks this year and four game-winning goals to lead Chicago in both categories.

Bond and the Mustangs (10-9) travel to Milwaukee for a rivalry match to close the 2016-17 season on Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. The game will be live streamed on MASLtv’s YouTube channel.
