 Flores coming off 10-7 campaign

Hoffman Estates, Ill. — Sixth-year Chicago Mustangs keeper Jesus Flores has been selected to represent the World team in the MASL Challenge.

The Mexican native owns a 62-32 record in five years with the Mustangs, including the playoffs. In eight playoff games, he owns a 4.74 goals allowed average. This includes his 2-0 record when the Chicago club won the Ron Newman Cup.

The 37-year-old was named MVP of the postseason in that championship season. Flores has been very durable as a shot stopper in Chicago, having missed only six games in five years.

Flores will go up against the U.S. side on Friday, June 16 in St. Charles, Missouri at Family Arena.

Founded in 2012, the Chicago Mustangs compete in the MASL. The Mustangs were the 2014 Ron Newman Cup Champions and 2014 U.S. Open Minifutbol Champions. For tickets visit chicagomustangspro.com, like them on Facebook facebook.com/ChicagoMustangs and follow them on Twitter @MustangsSoccer.
