Mustangs take on Ambush and Sidekicks

Playoff route becoming clearer

CHICAGO (Feb. 9, 2017) — The Chicago Mustangs and Dallas Sidekicks are fighting for their playoff lives. Chicago sits three games behind Cedar Rapids for the last postseason berth in the Central Division, with two games in hand. Dallas is two games behind Baja with four games remaining.

The Mustangs sit in a better position than Dallas, despite needing to pass both Cedar Rapids (11-5) and Milwaukee (11-6). Chicago could play its way into the playoff picture with six games on its slate, including matchups with the Rampage and Wave. Chicago owns a head-to-head tiebreaker with Cedar Rapids.

Dallas meanwhile, suffered a defeat in its lone matchup with Baja, and would need at least three losses from Baja with four games left.
This is the first time that Dallas has visited the Sears Centre, and first matchup between these squads since the Mustangs’ inaugural season in 2012-2013.
