CHICAGO (Feb. 16, 2017) — The Chicago Mustangs have no margin for error in their last four games of the season.The team posted back-to-back wins last weekend and now need four more in a row to close the campaign to have any shot of qualifying for the postseason. Chicago trails Cedar Rapids by 1.5 and 2 games, respectively.

Chicago needs a win from Kansas City on Saturday in Milwaukee to remain in the playoff hunt, meaning the Mustangs will know if they can play their way into the playoffs by gametime on Sunday or be playing the role of spoiler against Cedar Rapids.

Cedar Rapids is in a must-win situation as the squad seeks its first postseason berth.

Last Outing: Chicago: The Mustangs (9-7) erased a 3-1 deficit with five un- answered goals, forward Taylor Bond led the Mustangs with a hat trick and an assist.
Cedar Rapids: The Rampage (11-6) lost control of their playoff destiny by suffer- ing their second loss in Milwaukee in two weeks. The Rampage fell 8-2 Sun, Feb. 12, after losing 14-3 in the previous meeting between the teams.
Previous Matchup: Chicago kept its perfect 6-0 record intact against the Ram- page by recovering from a 3-0 deficit and winning 7-5 at the U.S. Cellular Center on Friday, Jan. 6.
Stars to Watch: Chicago: Alexis Camarena is back after receiving a red card against Syracuse on Sunday, Jan. 29. Coming into that game, the fifth-year Mustang had four goals in two games after being held scoreless in the first nine games.
Cedar Rapids: Forward and player-coach Hewerton Moreira is doing a little bit of everything for the Rampage. The former Mustang is not only managing the team on the field, but leading the team in points with 32 on 20 goals and 12 assists.
