Indoor Soccer, Chicago Style
The Chicago Mustangs are preparing to enter their sixth season in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). The MASL is comprised of 20 teams from across the United States and Mexico, the largest indoor soccer league in the world. With teams in four geographic divisions (Eastern, Central, Southern and Pacific) the league is the only true nation-wide indoor soccer league in North America. With tremendous growth over the past few years, it is only a matter of time before the league gains the media exposure needed to truly become a global brand. The Mustangs are proud to join fellow MASL teams (Baltimore Blast, RGV Barracudas, Dallas Sidekicks, Harrisburg Heat, Milwaukee Wave, Kansas City Comets, Monterrey Flash, Ontario Fury, St. Louis Ambush, Saltillo Rancho Seco, San Diego Sockers, Syracuse Silver Knights, Tacoma Stars, Florida Tropics, Toronto, Cedar Rapids Rampage, El Paso Coyotes, Soles de Sonora, Atletico Baja) to play for the chance to win the Ron Newman Cup. The 2017-18 season will start in October. Teams are set to play twenty games (eleven home, and eleven on the road) in the 2017-18 season, as well as have the opportunity to represent themselves in the U.S. Open tournament against MASL professional and amateur teams from around the United States.
